On Track and Moving Forward
about 7 years ago – Mon, Feb 27, 2017 at 06:18:53 PM

Hail Backers,

We have been a little quiet lately, hard at work putting finishing touches on the book. We are currently on schedule to send it to the printers and they are warming up the presses.

We will be closing out Backerkit on March 14 to keep all deliverable timelines in place. So if you haven't already, fill out that survey!

Thank you again for your support, enthusiasm and help, bringing our first project to life.

GET YOUR REWARDS USING BACKERKIT
about 7 years ago – Fri, Feb 03, 2017 at 02:52:32 PM

If you haven't already, look through your inbox for an email survey from Backerkit to arrange for your goods. And if you owe us an NPC, get that moving because we're closing in on the last of the writing now.

Shipping note: If you're going to Gen Con, we can arrange to meet there (I'm looking at Thursday morning) to eliminate any shipping costs.

Okay, back to writing, editing, and codifying. Thanks for your support.

IT'S TIME TO MAKE THE MAGIC HAPPEN! (How to receive your rewards)
over 7 years ago – Sun, Jan 29, 2017 at 06:06:23 PM

We will be sending an email with a special link to BackerKit surveys later today. Backerkit is a service outside of Kickstarter that allows us to manage fulfillment in a streamlined way. It is important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information for fulfilling your rewards.

You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey, just click on the survey link, fill it out, and you’re all good to go! You will be able to answer questions about your rewards preferences, provide shipping information, and pledge for more “add-ons” if you'd like. You do not have access to this survey link yet, but it will come to you soon via email!

If you decide later that you want to edit your survey response, you can go back to your survey and change it any time before we lock down the surveys for processing.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you will be able to recover your survey here: HarlemUnbound.backerkit.com

If you use your Facebook login for your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey will be sent to the email you used for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you would prefer to use, please contact support at HarlemUnbound.backerkit.com/faq and we'll get you sorted out!

If you prefer, you can just message me and give me your information and not use Backerkit. On that note....

GEN CON 50!!!
I will be running games at Gen Con 50 in Indianapolis (Aug. 17 - 20) and will be onsite for the entire convention. I am happy to set aside a couple of hours either Thursday or Friday morning to provide backers their orders in person. This will let you avoid shipping charges. If you are interested in receiving your rewards utilizing this option, please email me directly at [email protected] using the following subject line on your email: GenCon 50: Harlem Unbound (YOUR NAME)

Thanks, Chris and the team

To say that I'm grateful would be an understatement.

644 backers
$38,698 raised
773% funded

To all of my friends, my fellow gamers, and folks who just wanted to support us, I cannot express to you what it means to see my dream passion project becoming reality. I am beyond thankful for your support and for your words of encouragement. You'll hear from us again in the near future -- we're using Backerkit to assist with fulfillment and delivery.

The Harlem Unbound journey started about three years ago, and it's not over. Now the work kicks into high gear and we produce the project we all want.
